The Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, graced the annual function of SGSD International School at Baba Jitto Auditorium, SKUAST, today as the Chief Guest.
In her address, Sakeena Itoo reaffirmed the Government’s continued focus on improving health and education, emphasizing that the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ensures adequate support for institutions that aim to bring vibrancy and innovation in these sectors.
Highlighting the critical role of educational institutions, the Minister underscored the importance of schools in the fight against drug abuse among youth. Acknowledging the exceptional talent of children in Jammu and Kashmir, Itoo praised the cultural performances and diverse talents showcased by the students at the event.
