New Recruits from Jammu and Kashmir Express Joy and Pride After Receiving Appointment Letters

New Delhi, Oct 29: In a significant move to boost employment, the second phase of the Rozgar Mela was held at the Convention Centre in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), where 105 candidates received appointment letters for roles primarily in the Department of Posts and Indian Railways. The new appointees expressed deep gratitude to the Union government and a strong commitment to their duties. Ayesha Chaudhary, one of the new recruits, shared her appreciation, saying, “I am very grateful to Prime Minister Modi for this opportunity. I will serve my country to the best of my ability.” Similarly, Arjun Kumar, selected for Northern Railway, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I’m excited to begin my journey in this new role and contribute to my nation.” Vipin Kumar, who secured a position in Indian Railways after several years of preparation, added, “After 4-5 years of hard work, I finally achieved my goal. I am very thankful to the Indian government for this opportunity.” Shreya, a newly appointed nursing officer at AIIMS, Jammu, expressed her heartfelt thanks to the Prime Minister, saying, “This opportunity means a lot. I am sincerely thankful to PM Modi for supporting us.” The J&K event was part of a larger nationwide initiative in which over 51,000 appointment letters were distributed across 40 locations. The ceremony in Jammu saw the presence of MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and other senior officials. PM Modi addressed the new appointees virtually, highlighting the crucial role of government jobs in nation-building and the importance of their contributions to India’s development. The recruits will have access to foundational training through ‘Karmayogi Prarambh,’ an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This platform offers over 1,400 e-learning courses designed to equip new appointees with essential skills to serve effectively and contribute to building a ‘Viksit Bharat.’ Rozgar Mela Phase 2 is being hailed as a significant step towards expanding employment opportunities across the nation, reinforcing the government’s commitment to empowering youth and strengthening India’s workforce.
